Youth Suicide Prevention Community of Practice: The Mental Health Consequences of Bullying

The link between bullying and suicide has garnered significant media attention recently. This presentation by Dr. Melissa K. Holt will provide participants with an understanding of whether research supports messages conveyed by the media, and offer insight into which youth involved in bullying might be at particularly high risk for suicidal ideation and attempts. The webinar will also highlight best practices in bullying prevention, and ways in which programs might address both bullying and its mental health consequences.
